About US

eSTeé Salon is owned by Samina Tayebali, a veteran with more than a decade of experience in the hair industry. The name is cleverly made up from Samina’s own initials, “ST”. Her design team is composed of very talented, highly and continuously educated, and experienced individuals. All of the stylists work together as a team to give you their combined craftsmanship and passion, while you relax and enjoy a glass of wine, soft drink or coffee!

eSTeé Salon is a proud and long-standing member of The Triangle Bridal Association (TBA). Samina and her talented staff have worked behind the stage for several fashion shows in the Triangle doing hair and makeup, including the Southern Bridal Show & Expo put on by Forever Bridal. Be sure to take a look at our bridal portfolio.

Pronounced BAH-LEE-AHGE, balayage is actually a French word meaning ‘sweeping,’ as in to sweep on a hair lightener to create highlights. Balayage is the technique of free-hand painting highlights onto the hair, creating a soft and natural gradation of lightness towards the ends. The result is the look of summers spent at the beach, or the fresh, unintentionally perfect highlights on a child. This natural-looking highlighting technique is not just for blondes, but is actually used on all shades of hair to add soft, sunkissed dimension.

eSTeé Salon uses Wella Color. It is Germany’s largest and the world’s second largest producer of hairdressing products for home and professional use. Their latest innovation is Illumina. It’s microlight technology protects the cuticles so they maintain their clarity. This allows light to pass through, illuminating natural highs and lows from within – in any kind of light. Find more information on Illumina Color.
Cross out hair and makeup from your to-do-list because we are going to take that worry off your shoulders.
Airbrush makeup is a way of applying makeup that uses an airbrush, similar to those used in the painting of cars

A Brazilian Blowout eliminates frizz, straightens hair, and provides a healthy shine by creating a layer of protein around the hair. Treatments last up to 12 weeks, and can be completed during a 3 hour salon visit.

Waxing is a temporary method of hair removal which removes the hair at the root. New hairs do not grow back in the waxed area for up to three to eight weeks. New hair growth in waxed areas is soft and fine, not sharp and coarse like shaved hair. After repeated waxing, hair regrowth is less common and eventually some hair never regrows.
